Alyssa A. Vanstone is the founder of Vanstone Law Firm. She founded Vanstone Law Firm to focus on representing homeowners who are facing foreclosure. Prior to founding her firm, she spent several years in private practice representing clients in family law matters and civil litigation matters including mortgage foreclosure defense and other real property disputes.

Alyssa began her career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney, Sixth Judicial Circuit where she gained valuable trial and negotiation experience as a criminal prosecutor and then as a lead trial attorney in the Child Welfare Legal Services division, representing the interests of the Department of Children and Families.

Alyssa is originally from the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area where she graduated with honors from Hamline University with a B.A. in History and Anthropology. After graduation in 1999, Alyssa relocated to Florida.

She graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law in December 2002 and became a member of the Florida Bar in April 2003. Alyssa also holds an M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida.

Ayana Cruz is an attorney with a law career extending over a decade. Ayana graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Central Florida. After completing her undergraduate studies, she earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law.

After law school, she obtained valuable legal and trial experience at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office and the Department of Children and Families. She is passionate about her work and the Central Florida community.

Ericka C. Murphy, Esq., was bornWoman with long black hair and black dress. and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was admitted to the Forida Bar in November, 2020. Subsequent to her undergraduate career, in 2016, Ericka graduated early with a Bachelor’s in English, with a concentration in Women Literature and Black Literature from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition to her B.A. in English, Ericka also graduated with her Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, in 2020 from the illustrious Florida A&M University, College of Law (“FAMU”).

During her law school career, Ericka worked as a legal intern with Deborah A. Cook, Law & Mediation and with FAMU’s Homelessness Legal Clinic, where she concentrated majorly on Family Law matters. Prior to graduating from law school, Ericka also worked at Coye Law Firm as a law clerk, where she gained personal injury experience.

After graduating from law school, Ericka began her official legal career as an attorney at The Law Offices of Tara J. Scott, P.A., where Ericka worked for three (3) years. As an associate attorney at The Law Offices of Tara J. Scott, P.A., Ericka worked on various family law matters including but not limited to: Divorce, Custody, Paternity, Child Support, Modifications, Contempt and Enforcement, Temporary Custody by an Extended Family Member, Termination of Parental Rights and Stepparent Adoption, Simple Living Will and Testament etc.
